A wave park, hot springs, a brewery and accommodation are part of the proposed development that has been given in-principal support by the Shire of Murray and the Peel Development Commission.
The proposed development, called Mandurah Waters, will be built on a farming property site in West Pinjarra.
Developer Steve Palmer of the Palmer Group, who is behind the ambitious plan said Mandurah Waters was an “exciting” development for the local area in an interview with Community News.
“It’s all about jobs and tourism and creating exciting recreational facilities for locals to enjoy,” he said.
Accommodation options will include a caravan, park home and chalet park as well as seasonal workers’ accommodation.
