PAMPERED pooches are enjoying five-star treatment at a Gold Coast caravan park. They have been provided with more room to stretch their legs and can chase tennis balls to their hearts’ content while on holiday. And the four-legged guests at the BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park are also revelling in a range of agility equipment, including a seesaw, hurdle, weave poles and more. The 32-acre park in Siganto Drive has opened a fenced, super-sized, off-leash doggy park. There’s even an on-site cafe that will happily serve up 'puppycinos' to canine guests. Park owner Theo Whitmont explained: "We understand dogs are part of many families, so we think pups deserve to holiday in style like the rest of our guests. Dogs often get left at home when families go out on the weekend so this is a chance to share the fun with them." Dogs aren’t the only four-legged creatures in the park ... a mini cow, two alpacas, chickens, goat and ducks call its mini-farm home.

Are you the closest holiday park to the theme parks?
Yes, we’re in walking distance to Movieworld, Wet’n’Wild, Australian Outback Spectacular, 5-minute drive to Dreamworld and 25 minutes to Seaworld.
Where is the closest place to buy groceries?
There is a local IGA and a bakery just on our street. Woolworth’s, K-Mart, Coles, Aldi are all within a 2 minute drive.
And a Chemist?
Yes, our local chemist is located 10 minutes up the road at Oxenford. They close at 9PM.
Are dogs allowed in cabins?
Yes, the Pet Studio Cabins are our dog friendly accommodation – the only dog friendly accommodation on the Gold Coast. And your dog is free to stay with you in your caravan, campervan, RV, or tent.
Does my dog need to be vaccinated?
Yes, we do require a copy of your dog’s vaccination certificate. A necessary precaution for all dogs’ safety.
Are there cooking facilities at the park?
We have accommodation with fully fitted self-contained kitchens and we have the Camp Kitchen and free to use barbecues throughout the park for your convenience and enjoyment.
Do I have to pay now?
Yes, a deposit is required at the time of booking to ensure your preferred accommodation is confirmed for you. Check with the office staff for the appropriate deposit amount. If you wish to book a particular accommodation or site please let us know so we can hold it for you.
What activities are there for kids?
Jumping Pillow, Pedal Cars, Pony rides, BMX bike track, heaps of outdoor fun, colouring in competitions, chocolate hunts and specially designed seasonal activity programs and Pancakes on Sunday’s the kids will love.
How far is the airport?
Brisbane is only 50 minutes away by car plus there is a direct rail link to Brisbane from the Helensvale station. Coolangatta is just 30 minutes drive away.
Are there buses and trains nearby?
A bus picks up just outside the front of our park every hour travelling to Helensvale and Southport. A major bus stop and train station are both a 5-minute drive away. Catch the train to go anywhere on the Gold Coast.
Is there a courtesy bus to take us to the theme parks or the Australian Outdoor Spectacular?
Ask about the coach to take you to and from these attractions at the Tour Desk - we can arrange a taxi if you prefer.
Are there any off-lead spots nearby to walk my dog?
Yes, the Spit is a dog beach only a 20-minute drive away. The Damian Leeding Memorial Park across the other side of the Motorway has an off-lead area. Nerang, a ten minute drive has a riverside dog-walking park.
Am I entitled to the BIG4 discount for my stay?
Yes, at all times of the year we provide BIG4 members a discount every time you stay with us.
Can my family /friends visit us while we are staying with you?
Yes, of course they are more than welcome. It is only $10 a day for extra visitors – they will need to sign-in and get an ID band. They will have access to all the fun in the park, recreational activities, all the amenities and facilities.
Can I book the same site each year?
Yes if at all possible we will arrange for you to stay on your favourite site, but of course we cannot guarantee it. Please make sure you book early & let us know your preference to secure your favourite spot.
