With just under one month to release date, Brighthouse previews an exciting new iPhone application Find A Park that will revolutionise the way road travellers find and interact with caravan parks.
The up-to-the-minute information available about each caravan park on this digital mobile tool is way more than can be included in any print directory. Users can search for caravan parks by state, town or name or use the phone's internal GPS mapping system to target parks close to their current location.
Want to find a park that has a swimming pool or allows pets? It's all here in the palm of your hand - along with rates, photos and user reviews.
You can phone a caravan park or send an email enquiry straight form the App. The future is now! Soon there will be Find A Park Apps for Android and Windows Smartphones and an iPad version.
Holidaymakers will be able to download Find A Park from the iTunes store for just $1.99 from early May 2011. Just think of all those trees that will be saved. Starting at the national CRVA conference in April, caravan parks will be able to subscribe to Find A Park and upload their information to the database for displaying on the App. And, it's all available for less than the cost of placing brochures in just one Visitor Centre.
Following the launch of Find A Park in Australia, Brighthouse will provide New Zealand travellers and caravan parks with the same opportunity to enter the digital mobile era.
